Hey Lloyd,<
><
>Nice first attemps at photographing the fishes. it is not very easy getting that focus thing right.. And the camera i think does have a lot to do with it.<
><
>as for getting good pics of the red tropheus,...ha ha i have taken about 100 of the kachese and i think maybe 3 turned out OK, but nothing great yet...It can be damm frustrating, before you know it 3 hours has passed!<
><
>I find the best time is at night, with the tank lights on and no flash as it washes out the fishes, you just need to have a really steady hand. Good luck with it.<
><
>And whats this about Jon moving???? is he heading to moura? Mick, Rockhampton<
>seeneym(at)hotmail.com<
>Tanganyikan pics here<
><

hey mick,<
><
>ha ha, no jon isn''t moving here, we just tossing up the idea to have the next cq fish nuts bbq here. tropheus are good fun to try and photo,  i did try a few things as u mentioned about flash and night time, i also did try 2 different cameras, both had totaly different results, good thing these digi cameras can delete crapy photo''s i hate have the bill for same amount of photos taken on film. going to ask the question soon on what sort of camera to use for best results, do u no of any good articles on fish taking photograpy?<
